2 Weeks and Counting...

Well....the countdown has officially begun and January 23, 2012 doesn't seem to be coming along as soon as I would hope. I'm sick of dealing with random and urgent runs to the restroom, the inability to sleep through the night, and just plain ol' everything that comes with being PREGNANT. Did I mention that I am so over this? Well, please know that I am. I can't wait to resume party planning and decorating...I have great things in store that I can't do with this huge belly sitting on my lap!

Baby Shower for Astrid & Daunte Foster

I'm back...well kinda, lol....I'll soon be out of commission until Summer 2012 as our family anxiously anticipates the birth of our second baby boy! Check out the pictures from the baby shower thrown by my bestfriends (Nay, Tara, & Adri)...special thanks to my cousin Sophie who went out of her way to make sure everything got done way ahead of schedule. I harrased my poor twin, Nay, for 4 months straight even though I knew she would get the job done, albeit at the last minute! LOL Tara and Adri, are my angels sent from above.....I think they would've gone  to Mars and back to make sure everything went out without a hitch! Anyhoo-I hope you enjoy the pics....I'll post more pics as I get to it :-) BTW, as a way to honor my husband/bestfriend and the arrival of what he ADAMANTLY predicted would be another boy, the theme was FIU Football.

I've been MIA....

So, I've been MIA for the past 8 months...but I'll be back up and running as soon as I drop this load!!! I have done several parties since my last post and I will post them shortly. Hopefully you like them although I haven't been very active lately. Stay tuned, I'm back to blogging!

Can't Wait for Summer!

So, being a high school teacher is both fun and exhausting. I truly enjoy my job, my students, and a handful of my co-workers. Thankfully, this year, I've been blessed with the opportunity to stay home for the summer instead of reporting to some sort of employment. During this time, I plan on enjoying life's simplest things like waking up early to sit on the porch and watch the sun rise as I  read one of the many novels that have been waiting for me. How about, just going to the park with my family to enjoy the nice hot Florida weather?! Hmm...the beach sure does sound good! Those few things I mentioned are some of the world's simplest things to do, yet working non-stop sometimes does not allow for enjoyment of such treasures. So, my countdown begins TODAY! Summer, here I COME!

DJ's 4th Bday Celebration

This party was soooo much fun to plan and execute! My son was sooo happy!
